Disneylexya is the name chosen to represent the idea of graphic mutation based on the reinterpretation and mixture of ancient myths with my own symbology. This exercise has resulted in an amalgam composed of the iconography of European medieval bestiaries, alchemical treatises and native Latin American aesthetics. All of this is framed in graphic structures that bear a certain resemblance to the compositions and language used in popular Chilean muralism of the 1970s.
Jose immerses himself in his creative process without restrictions, letting himself be guided by the pencil and imagination. In his world, a vibrant palette of colors unfolds, along with fantastic creatures, scenes with a touch of humor that adds fun to each stroke.
